Hey gang, fishing the same area again. Limits already and it's not even 9:00 a.m. Even got some real nice big ones, a couple of 8 lbers. This has been some of the best fluking in the last 20 - 25 years....like the old days. We even have Charlie Batch's family members of the Pittsburgh Steelers fishing today on the Prowler5 enjoying this beautiful June day. Don't waste time, come down and join us. We look forward to seeing you at the dock. I'll post pics and pool winner later. Chef Mike everyday. Twilight fluking every Fri., Sat. and Sun. 3:30 to 9:00. We will be sailing for the 4th of July fireworks, tickets are $75 per person. Boat leaves the dock at 5:30 p.m. Please send a check to Charter Prowler Fishing, 61 Leonard Avenue, Atlantic Highlands, NJ 07716 or Call Capt. Glenn at 732-513-1251. Thank you very much.

It turned out to be another banner day....all kinds of limits around the boat. Today's pool winner was Leo Wedlock from Bensalem, PA with an 8lber. It really is great fluking. You have to take advantage of this great fishing. Here are some pics from today's trip. We look forward to seeing you in the a.m.

What's the limit this year on fluke?

The limit is 18 inches in NJ for fluke and the limit is five. NY used to be 21 inches but their limit is also 18 inches now. We have our NY permit and fish in NY a lot. Thanks, Capt. Scott

Did you guys catch them early? We had trouble hooking into anything but doggies when we were out there later on from 11am to 6pm.
Just wondering if I lost my touch.

Yes we caught them early...the first couple of drifts. Actually, the first fish was the pool fish. Thanks, Capt. Scott

That is the second to last picture. Having 6 clearly means he limited or someone else would be posing too.

Hey fish guy this is Capt Scott. Believe me when I tell you there were all kinds of limits on this trip. My brother Glenn has been taking the pictures. Sometimes he takes them early in the morning between drifts. The mates have been too busy to take pictures. Actually there were 167 fluke wrecks in the wrack barrel at the end of the day. I hate to post numbers like that on the internet but I had to reply to your comment and let you know how great the fishing has been. Thanks Capt. Scott
