We had another good day of fluking which would have been a banner day had the wind held off and the ship traffic. Although some had a hard time with the extra weight needed to hold bottom those who could adjust scored well. big fluke again today with angler regular Kurt Zita from Bloomingdale taking the pool with a nice 7 1/2 pound fluke. Greg AKA Hit Man had our first limit and ended the day with a few more to 6 1/2 pounds. There were some nice fluke in our bay where conditions were better but not good.

We ended the day with over 50 keepers which was good for the conditions. Tomorrow looks windy gain but Tuesday and Wednesday are looking good.

No Galley tomorrow

BIG POOL OVER $1600

Thanks Captain George

The wind was Angry , the sea wasnt that bad, butt the Glumpkee's were cranky on this day my friend

The morning didn't start out too bad, started bucktailing with 4oz , that didnt last too long , then went to a 6oz spro-:D ,almost like dragging a cannonball ( had the 8 oz on standby but never broke her out ) , still didn't work and most people that were catching of course were dragging bait, had to go old school and started catching em. Capt George found em and let me tell you the fish are there and they are nice big fat fish, even the shorts were nice and plump. When the wind drops out it will be fish on.

It wasn't too bad until about 10:30 - 11:00 ish then WHAM - that fan turned on and the fishing slowed down , it blew 30+ no lie , we picked and scratched from there on out with a couple nice keepers here and there. For the conditions we did pretty good

I had 1 nice keeper and a couple of shorts and most went home with 1 or 2 with a couple of limits to near limits mixed in, thanks again Captain George for making the best out of the conditions we had and putting us on the meat

Dragging bait did better the jigging ( there were some caught on jigs though ) all colors and bait caught but I would say white and pink produced the best today

No more I suck and I burning and selling everything those days are over I hope , today just couldn't get dialed in but I think I figured out what I need to do ???
Operator error and self inflicted googan , must start reading the ocean and its critters and what they want on any particular day, if you listen you will not suck so bad (Jorge is El pollo Loco)

Thank you Jose for the extra fish ( gave it to my sister for dinner ) and nice seeing some of the regulars

As far azz the Glupkee's go , they worked really hard yesterday and worked there asses off Literally - :eek. Love my Glumkee's and we got 2 for the price of 1 today. Dont worry Joey no matter how hard you try and give into your genetics I wont let you turn into your father but there are slight glimpses and sightings. Glad to see the only nice Gorski after the trip and hear she is doing well - :D
