Afternoon Fluking on the Obssesion

Headed out around 1pm yesterday with Kurtis, Sven and Jar head. Was blowing pretty good still had some wind against for the first little while. I told the guys we are going to stick it out because I know the fish are here. When we get conditions we will get the fish. Wind settled got some conditions and picked away until dusk. One nice fish caught by Jar Head 6.5 Sven had a surprise double keeper. I sucked but boated my share. Kurtis turned it on late but good. All in all good day. 15 keepers up to 6.5 lbs 4 keepers to one throw back was the ratio.97882

That was a load of fun. Even the gator fishing was first class :rolleyes: We came up on a bait ball about an hour into the trip, and the fish finder lit up like a Christmas tree... I've never seen any such :eek: Too bad it was a school of yellow eyed demons that chewed our gear to shreds and swallowed about $50 worth of Spros and Gulp :mad:. We boated a handful in the 12 pound range before running away. We all dropped our share of keeper fluke too. Some, right at the surface. Woulda easily had a boat limit if we didn't suck so bad :o Still, a great outing with a fun group. Thanks for being both captain and first mate Jopey. Otherwise, everyone would be eating bone-in fish sticks ;) Looking forward to the next outing :D:D:D
Oh, and congrats to Sven on the double (both keepers)! That was cool to see
