Hey gang, Capt. Scott here. I had the boat out on the fluke grounds today and will again for the second trip. Let me start with yesterday's report. Capt. Glenn had the boat out yesterday with 22 anglers with very strong winds out of the NW. He had to fish down the beach where waters were calm. 15 keepers with a couple of hundred shorts yesterday. Didn't take any pics - the boys were whooped with that wind. Today I fished down around Sea Bright, Monmouth Beach area with hundreds and hundreds of short action all day. John and Mike were busy with the nets. Somewhere in the range of 30 something keepers today. I actually had to put the pedal to the metal - 23 knots - to get in for this afternoon's fluke trip (which I will be going on). Nice crowd of customers today for a beautiful June day - also one of the 3/4 boats was chartered today. Speaking of charters, we have one tomorrow (day time). Our deckhand John said Nancy of West Belford out-fished the guys today - high hook of 4 keepers. Here's a few pics from today's catch. Thx., Capt. Scott
