My wife, daughter and I met up with Carlos and his cousin Wilson for a day of bottom fishing. Hot sunny day on water, wish the fishing was as hot. We tried out as far as 42 miles in 130 feet to moving 20 miles in in 60 feet with many stops in between.
Ended the day with one keeper red grouper, one fluke, a mutton and a handful of large lane snapper, one just a pound short of being a state record and a bunch of grunts. Of course we had enough short action thru the day to stay busy.
Always a great day with Carlos and it was a pleasure to meet Wilson, we are already penciling in a date for next year to do it again
