It was good to see so many Angler regulars take advantage of the good weather and our best start to the fluke season in years.

Tough conditions to start with WAG (wind against tide) and no drift. I stopped on the fish and the casters and jiggers caught fish. One fellow had 4 keepers before 8:30. This is why we sail early as he had 4 nice fish before many boats even wet a line.

Over 50 keepers on our best drift today with many 4 to 7 pound fluke. one reason the Angler dose so well is that we carry such good flukers and when you have guys catching it draws other fluke to the boat and everyone catches.

Vinny Lisa had a hot hand on the big fluke with 4 keepers including a 5, 6 and 7 1/2 pound pool fish

You do not have to be a regular to enjoy a fun day of good fluking as we welcome new comers But you do have to get down a little early as we leave at 7:00 AM to get you on the fish first and we dock at 2:00 PM to get you on the road in front of the shore traffic.

The weather looks great for Wednesday most wind late in the day

Galley open

Thanks captain George

Thx Capt'n George, you had us on some serious meat there! Good news I caught the big one, bad news for me was that we released a 10+lber to live another day. Awesome day on the water and had a great time on the Angler.

Side note & plug for Shrimpy. Year or 2 ago, he recommended a 9/0 teaser hook. Haven't looked back since. Your advice has gotten me some PREM-O fluke Thx SMS!:D:D:D

spro's and gulp plus the buat bait as been doing well. You have to work your baits if the drift is slow.
