All the boat traffic on the STRIPED BASS knocked them down pretty well today so it was tough to catch many of them. We did have STRIPERS to 42 lbs. though. There had to be 200 boats out there fishing for them and it was just impossible. Then we went off in search of some BLUES and we found 6 to 10 lb. BLUES all on Run Off crocs and hammer jigs but they didn’t bite like they had been so that was a little slower than it should have been. But we did manage to catch some BASS and some BLUES.
Looks like a little rain tomorrow but aside from that it should be fine for fishing and that will probably keep the boat traffic down so see you in the morning.
The GOLDEN EAGLE sails every day for STRIPERS & BLUES at 7:30 am from Belmar Marina in Belmar, NJ.
