Eyes on First Ave- Be my Costa model for a month- CONTEST UPDATE-NOW YOU CHOOSE!

Thank you all for participating in the Eyes on First Ave photo contest. All of the pictures that were submitted were fantastic and it was extremely difficult to choose our favorites. We could not narrow it down to five pictures so we decided to up the number to ten. My associates and I went through the pictures many times and all came to an agreement on the following ten. We based our choices on the following:

1. Costa's had to be prominent and clear in the picture.
2. The composition and energy of the photo for our various advertising needs.

Now it is up to all of you to decide who will be the next Eyes on First Ave Costa Model for a month! Anyone can vote as long as you are a registered NJFishing.com member. Members can only vote once. All votes must be cast by June 5th. VERY IMPORTANT! You must select your favorite picture in the poll above or it will not be registered.

Going to have to go with the Legacy crew as these kids are are the 4th generation of a great fishing family. They are accomplished anglers at a young age and even better Kids. Will represent the Brand well.

VOTE FOR ME I NEED NEW COSTA'S ---- So here is my story. As they say "It sure beats a sharp hook in the eye"....See pics below..... When I fish my tin boat for fluke there are many times that I will not net fluke that I know are short. I grab the leader and quickly lift the fish into the boat. Well thankfully I have become more religious about wearing my Costa's. When lifting a fish last weekend Mr. Fluke gives the classic violent head shake releasing the 3/4 oz jig while under the tension of the mono. The jig slingshots and smacks me in the left lens before I knew what happened. Close call with a razor sharp 4/0 gami jig hook !!! :eek: WEAR YOUR COSTA's !!!!

Thanks i really tried to use the costa symbol in the pic and I love that it two of my boys my husband and my youngest
Son if he isnt sleeping or in school he is fishing or practicing his cast net he making his own fish traps he loves all fishing !

We loved all of the photos that were submitted and it was definitely difficult narrowing it down to ten as they all were great. I think it is a great suggestion from ChumDumpster to use multiple photo's in the ads and we will do that where we can. Even if you were not a finalist don't be surprised if you see your picture in an Eyes on First Ave Ad. We love to use local people in all of our ad's and you all have provided us with so many great photo's. I will post the ad in NJfishing if we use your photo. Eyes on First Ave would also like to give a Costa Hat to everyone that submitted a photo! So next time your in Atlantic Highlands please stop by to say hello and pick up your hat.
