We picked slowly at the Sea Bass , yesterday mainly because of the south wind . The water got a little colder, and the fish got sluggish. It's not that we didn't catch a lot of fish, but a lot of fish got to see the sky and clouds , and go back to tell about it. When the conditions get to a certain point like cold water , the small fish still have to eat, and the big fish shot their mouth's. Lots of action , but not lots of keepers. Everyone that I talk to had , sort of the same conditions. It's not that the fish aren't here you read amazing amounts of fish on the fishfinder , it's just that you don't catch what you see. I'm certain that when the wind subsides , or changes direction that the fishing will bounce back , there's a lot of Seabass around. John Genelley one of our more skilled anglers I had close to a limit , and the biggest Sea Bass of the season so far, which tip the scales at 5 1/2 lbs. We're also starting to see a few ling inshore . We have Open boat trips throughout the week, with plenty of room , for Sea Bass, ling, And fluke. call for Information, and the reservations.
