thanks guys. it was a shock to see 2 fish pop to the surface! i thought for sure that one or both would shake free before my buddy could snap a few pics.

Not only two bass but two very nice fish! Wonder what the odds are of having two fish hit the lure at the same time or close to the same time, both getting hooked and landing both! I've seen it happen before but never to me. I have a hard enough time getting one to hit! Great stuff and as others have suggested, LOTTERY TICKET! Just a question though, there's a third hook on that lure, did the third fish get off!

That is amazing! Congrats! I could use some of that kind of luck, I haven't landed a decent bass since April (and not for lack of trying which makes it all the more depressing). When I saw subject of post figured you had booked a dink that was them gobbled by a bigger bass. What actually happened is way way cooler.

Awesome catch! Did they both hit at about the same time or were you already fighting one when the other got in on the action?

I got 2 squirrels with one shot one time and I thought that was cool. But that doesn't even come close to what you did. I bet that is your favorite lure.

it was one hit. felt heavy on the line , but something was "different" in the way the fight progressed. my theory was the fish couldnt swim well being next to each other. like 2 guys in a potato sack race ,one leg each in the sack.
yeah the lucky craft jerkbait has been working well up till this point, but let's be realistic. lots of luck involved!

I have bowled a 300 game, but have never caught a double header of bass. Perch, yes, but not bass.

So they do follow each other to try to steal food!
Always wondered why a hooked fish is sometimes followed closely by others.
That's a 1 in a billion catch you have right there haha!
