Today Capt. Tom & Gene ran another 6 am Striper trip for Ken and friends. It was a pleasure speaking with him many times before we sailed. Well, they came and they conquered. A fast bite put everything they come for in the boat real early and we released others for tomorrow :) The great group of guys left arm weary with big bags of iced up filets for the ride home. We even had the USCG aboard today, as usual everything was A1 especially since we run two USCG CERTIFIED 1-15 passenger custom Downeaster boats. Thank you for your service gentleman, and thanks to our crew for putting them in the boat, another great day. Don't miss the next open boat trips -

On a sad note, with heavy hearts everyone at Down Deep Sportfishing wish to express our deepest condolences to Capt. Rob and his family as his dad lost a hard, long fought battle with his illness. We all know your dad is now resting in peace.

Thanks for a great trip. I will definitely be booking a fall blackfish trip on DD Bull. That is one serious fishing boat!!!!!
