If i were you i would jump on the Ocean Explorer and do the full day trip. He is killing it

People on the gambler were catching a few sea bass....but like the guy above said the OE seems to be dialed in right now

As stated above, you might get a few Sea Bass on a 1/2 day fluke boat.. 1/2 day bottom fishing boats are a thing of the past.. The captains today have to move around quite a bit, and there aren't big concentrations of fish close to port.. Just not enough time... Been a long time since I was on a 1/2 day bottom fishing boat, but years ago there were a few.. I imagine there are charter captains that would book 1/2 day bottom fishing ... bob

thanks, will probably just do half day fluke trip. i wanted them to get some bites though, as this will be their first time on the ocean

Bring clams. When the Flukers start getting hung up in the rocks, switch over to clams on hi-lo rig and the kids will get some Sea Bass. Go get 'em
