FISHERMEN/ 5 /17 Night Striped Bass

We had very good fishing last night with the Bluefish.. The weather for today looks excellent. These are bigger blues so make sure to bring your heavier rods.. Sailing tonight at 6:30pm.

I am planning to go on this trip Friday night. What would be appropriate as a "heavy rod" for these larger bluefish? Any other tackle suggestions are welcome too.
