Might as well add another non-report to the "report section" here.

I don't remember ever having a shittier first week of May than the one we are in right now.

I'm going f***ing crazy at home having completed the indoor "Honey-Do" list yet unable to get much done outdoors. I'm not even sure if I'll be able to put the tomato plants in the garden this week because it's too cold!

Jesus Tap Dancing Christ make it stop already!!!

Good thing got the boat ready in those 70 degree days in march to have the boat sit in the slip in 50's in may, with never ending east winds.

Yep - we had a great end of March and early April and paid for it after that...

If I don't go fishing soon it's going to get pretty ugly around my house and you'll reading about me in the papers :D

I'm in the same boat as you Pete... Rushed to get the boat in 4/1 and it's been sitting in it's slip ever since :(

I may need counseling if the sun doesn't come out soon

Decided to do Florida for a couple of weeks.

No Regrets. Great drift fishing today. Yellowtails, Triggers, Vermilian Snapper, Porgies and more.

Will be back for the Fluke opener.

Water is the right Temperature and its going to be good.

Did someone say stir crazy. Boatyard is now behind on launch dates. Hope to finally get in by the end of next week.

Can't remember last time by May 6 I was only out once, In the mackerel runs of the 60's, I would have had 10 to 15 days on the water in April. and early May was Blackfish time.

At least I can still appreciate what we currently have.

This was the best first week in May for catching big blues in MI. Hundreds were caught.
