Basically I'm using it on a light line(30#)with 40# loop/loop 50' wind-on fluoro leader flylining. Eliminates one knot--one less chance of knot failure. If weight is needed, add a rubber core sinker. I made a few last year but had to use a split ring for hook/swivel connection...it worked but it'll be much less conspicuous without the ring. My preferred bait is head-hooked sardine--butterfish will work also with buried hook. Had success last year with it...biggest was a 50# lft...Gonna try it with a 50# rig this year if the yft's are big 'n bad like 2014. I understand they've been around for a few years but I've never seen them used before. An experiment that seems to work!!!

Chucky!!! I lost your email. I wanted to know which tuna trips you booked this year. Trying to get Tim and his brother together to hit a few. Email me when you have time - thunder835@yahoo.com
