Roman' Round Charters
04-05-2016, 10:12 PM
Today was splash day and everything went as planned except time of splash. First thing in the morning turned out being 3 pm.
Low water and we decided to try to get out of the inlet to take her for a ride.
We made it out and headed down the bay. Not to our surprise there were gannets dive bombing everywhere off of Keyport, so Pat and I threw the trolling gear out with our favorite Colored stretches. Before the second rod was all the way out the first went off and we had our first keeper of the year a fat 16 lber. Next set sent both rods screaming and we had one that went 19 lbs and Pat had a fat female that weighed 26.7 lbs that we released. An hour or so later we had our limit plus 15 more throw backs and back to the barn we headed to tie up and get ready for tomorrow's twilight bass trip.
They are here guys. I have choice charter dates available. I also will be running open boat twilight trips Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
We will clam, chunk, liveline or troll. Whatever is most productive.
Call for availability.
