I am looking for a suggestion/boat for a charter. I am looking for a charter that I can take in the summer (for fluke/blues). the catch is that it needs to accommodate more than 6 people (likely 10-12) and be very family friendly. We are looking to take my dad (78) out on a trip. He and I have fished many times and used many boats on this site...the catch is this time it is along with a number of his grand kids (ranging in age from 5-10), his 80 y/o wife etc....so we would need a team (captain and mate) that is pretty easy going and in it for the fun of it.
I have been on many of the boats on this site on 6-packs but never one quite this big.
Any suggestions would be really appreciated...ideally looking for one from Point Pleasant or higher.
Appreciate any thoughts and please feel free to send me a PM

All great choices. Mimi may be a bit easier to board.

Check with Capt Jim of the bingo out of the Atlantic highlands. He is a very good Capt and has a great crew. Plus he can fish the ocean and the bay. Something to think about with kids and elderly people aboard. The Mimi and last lady are very good as well, just it helps having the bay to protect you just in case the ocean is bumpy.

Having 2 mates or 1 mate and a captain that helped work the deck is a huge help with a group of that variety. All mentioned are good boats. Tagged fish is good too. Bingo, Tagged fish, and Down Deep, Down deep Bull all are Raritan Bay Area boats that can find a place to escape rough seas and wind if needed.

There are a lot of good ones in the area. But, I highly recommend Capt. Jimmy Rivelli on the Bingo. And, I'm not just saying that because he runs my boat - the guy fishes harder than anybody I know out there. Plus, he's an awesome Captain. Thx., Capt. Scott, Prowler5
