Please help me extend a warm NJFishing.com welcome to Captain Chris Dos Santos, the new owner of Barb Gail IV www.barbgailiv.com sailing out of Brielle NJ at 720 Ashley Avenue behind the Shipwreck Grill.
Chris has been fishing his entire life and his ship has finally come in. Many of you know Chris as the Mate and Captain of the Mimi for 20 plus years.
The Barb Gail is a 44' Henriques which is a great platform for fishing, known for its sea keeping ability, large cockpit and fish holds and comfortable well appointed cabin. She's powered by twin 550 horsepower diesels to get you out the the grounds quickly and is equipped with all the latest fishing finding and safety equipment.
Welcome aboard Chris and crew. Nice to see you fulfill your life long dream of owning and running you own boat.
All the best!!
Gerry

Congrats Chris. You have worked hard to earn your new position. As the mate of the Mimi you provided the finest service any angler could have asked for. Your dedication and sense of humor made the great trips even better and the slow trips fun days on the water.
I know you will take your place among the elite group of captains that ply our waters.

That boat name brings back memories , although never personally sailed on the original Barb Gail in early seventies we often chartered a boat that was docked close by Bingo IV !
Found memories of great tuna fishing on the Bingo ! I believe original Capt of Barb Gail , was Clint Dunham , Bingo , Bill Burkardt ! Great times chasing Tuna!
Never went much over 20 miles & u could load up on big bluefin !!

Ty all so much. Clint and Randy have passed the boat to me knowing she will do what it was built for catching fish. clint is a legend for those of you that didnt know i really believe a story needs to be written on him at 92 he has alot to tell and pictures to prove it. He was one of the original wicked tuna guys!!! MVP ty my dad fished and gave all he had to what most call a sport but for me and alot of others this is is a way of life not just a job. I only hope especially the way our next generation of kids are not playing outside I can like him continue to get more kids involved all we talk about with regulations and rules will not matter if our future children do not fish.

Capt. Chris,
I am at once ecstatic that you have reached your dream, but I will miss you as a great mate. I can only say you will be missed and I will definitely be fishing with you a couple of times coming up.

The Dunham Family so much history in the Manasquan area its a shame too see them move on, but Clint and Randy are a legacy in the Manasquan Inlet, tight lines and bright sunsets
