Note rule #13. Seriously? If there is a question? Just like that? At the anglers own expense?

That's been in all the tournament rules in JCSA for years. If it needs explanation, remember the old rule of thumb.......screw me once, shame on you...screw me twice.......shame on me

Do they mean the winner would have to pay for the polygraph or the angler who poses the "question" ? i dont think it is common to ask the winner to pay for a poly.

The the way I read it. If You beat Me out, I could just float a rumor that You got the fish through illegal means, and You would have to pay to prove Your innocence. If it is a lower place You probably won't bother as the cost exceeds the prize and then I step in and win.

Who pays for fine when you get caught you or the store that sold you the license

Steve You pay a fine after You have been convicted or You plead guilty. In our courts the burdeon of proof is on the state. In this instance if You are accused You pay to prove Your innocence. As I read the rules "if there is a question" You have to prove Your innocence. Totally different scenario. Not getting My money!

Rule 13 is reason enough not to enter for me
