Prowler 5

Hey gang, Capt. Scott here. The boys called me at around 10:30 a.m. today and said they have 37 peeps on the boat today. Not bad for this time of the year. They said there was a big ground swell out there on the ocean. I guess with the wind that came on yesterday afternoon. They said they were catching a lot of ocean pout on the first drop, they moved to a second drop and were slow picking with 13 - 14 inch blackfish. Not a lot of keepers. It's been a real tough day so far. I'll give a follow up report later this afternoon. And, yes we are definitely sailing tomorrow, February 1st. I have 7 guys already coming for sure. Also, I'd like to thank Chris, deckhand of the Mi-Jo for bringing a couple of first time black fishermen aboard the Prowler 5 yesterday. And thanks for bringing the soup and lunch for me and my crew. I truly had a fun day fishing with you guys yesterday. Plenty of white leggers and greenies. Heated cabin and heated handrails for your comfort. Thx., Capt. Scott
