Thinking of heading to St. Marteen with the family for a week in March and would like to get a day or two of fishing in.
Any recommendation on a charter or guide ?

Visited the island in April. We stayed on the Dutch side in Simpson Bay...I looked at fishing trips and couldn't really find anything that seemed to be more than just a tourist trap trip.
Another note - From everything I saw, any boats that fish from the Dutch side do not let the anglers keep the catch. It belongs to the boats. I am not sure if the same applies on the French side.
There are several marinas in Simpson Bay, as well as another one in Phillipsburg, and another in Marigot on the French side if that helps your search.

You're better off just packing a travel rod a reel spooled with 30 lb braid, fluoro, terminal tackle and some tins and plugs. Fish from shore at night and early am before the tourists awake. Better yet, hop a flight or take a catamaran to St barts, enjoy a proper coffee and a chocolate croissant while admiring the gorgeous "pairs" on damn near every beach. :D:D
