Tuff fishing Saturday

fished Saturday and man what a tuff one.was alittle sporty but still fishable.could not get those tog to bite.the capt and mate did all they could moving and wiggling all day but still no love.we did manage a handful of keepers.

saw you at the boat joey when I was loading my truck.i had a few fish too but man ya had to stay put all day to catch.the water was mess and I guess that heave was just to much.i guess its why the call it fishing

I was on the Mimi Sat and Chris ran all over the place trying to get a bite going and it just wasn't meant to be. Had fun busting ball though, thats really the only reason i went. Fishing was 2ndary lol

I had 1 keep and 2 shorts with no dogs.i guess we just got spoiled this year as the togging has been good.to answer your question mrac it handled those hounds with style.

Was it me or did those fish hit when we were in the trough and the rod tip was way up high in the air?? Freaking happened at least two or three times!

Was on a sponsored boat and I found a few fish. 5 over 15 and one under with 2 doggies. Managed to build a bite at one spot and had 2 before being mugged out of a few more. Another stop had a few scratches and then pulled 3 in 5 drops down before it totally died off. Once they stopped I think we had one fish the last 2 hrs. Not a very good day for most but went home with a few pounds of fillets for each of us.

the bite was funny and short for sure.did you see the color of those fish they looked very pale.

fished a NS last Saturday from south jersey. we had a good chew mid am for about 90 min with a lot of roasters. slowed to a pick later but decent overall. high hook had 12 keeps orl. I had 5 keeps for the day orl up to 9lbs. big heave made it hard to time the swing but they were there.
