Hello- This item for sale is a Nice VINTAGE Penn 99 Silver Beach Reel All Original with Box & Extra lightweight Spool Fishing Reel in Original Box.
This was one of the more rare penn sets they put out with the reel containing the extra lightweight spool edition, that also came as an option with the squidder and surfmaster reels and also has the neat one screw quick take apart feature.
A nice old stock collectible piece of fishing tackle. I am the original owner of this gem and can tell you that this one was only very lightly used on a couple of trips, and it shows only minimal wear. Not new, but very nice & 100% fully functional. Box IS a bit worn.
I have 3 other penn 99 reels that I fish with for tog, cod stripers and blues, and can't seem to kill em!! Here's your shot at a nice quality reel that won't disappoint instead of paying high dollars for today's higher tech garbage reels!!
