This past week proved to be a tough one for weather but the days that were fishable proved to be good ones.Bluefish,whiting,croakers,jacks,Spanish mackeral,and blue runners all cooperated.Fishbites,clam strips,cut shrimp,and mullet and blue runner chunks were the baits of choice.Krocodile spoons and McDonald straw rigs proved to be winners on the artificial side.I did a seminar for Bass Pro on Saturday on Early Winter Surf Fishing and anyone wishing a free how to handout please send me your email address and I'll forward a copy to you.Pompano should be making their presence known as our water temperatures are finally starting to dip.
