Late report but fished yesterday on my friend Jeff's boat, the Too Much out of Forked River. We had 4 guys (1 newbie) out for the day. Started on wrecks in the deep where he has been doing good. There was fish there as within the first hour or so we had 3 between 5 and 7 lbs. Anchoring conditions sucked and we couldn't stay put, even with 2 anchors.
A very slow pick continued throughout the morning and afternoon and we decided to head inshore. First wreck had someone on it and we searched for another. Wind was pickin up a little which helped with the anchoring. At this spot we got a good bite going on which saved the day. Ended the day with Jeff boxing 6 keepers and I had 5. Brian landed a hefty male around 9.5 which was released. Great weather for December! Always fun catching both the sunrise and sunset.
