We decided to take a break from limiting out on blackfish and took a crew trip offshore for my sons birthday. It was an absolute perfect day, much like yesterday. As soon as we got set up the bite was on. You couldnt start reeling fast enough once you hit the bottom-you could do no wrong! after an hour our arms were killing us coming up with double header seabass and porgies. All huge porgies and we had most of the seabass between 4 and 6 lbs. wound up with almost 150 porgies, 30 seabass and 20 bluefish as well as a nice size cod. We saw the weather window and glad we jumped on it!
The next dates open are 12/12 and 12/13 and we have plenty of whites. We'll be back at it again early tomorrow morning
