If its any help, I read The Osprey will start fishing on Dec 4, down in AC, and hopefully will post some reports.

Left Barnegat this morning and sailed north for an hour to Axel Carlson. We had a very slow pick, but the captain said it much better than the day before, when he fished farther south.

Have had two trips down that way with boat full of stone cold Tog sharpies this past week. On both trips we never got a bite going. Not sure what has happened down that way the last 2 years as as use too have some phenomenal fishing down that way as they do not get the pressure we do up north. 3 years ago I had my 2nd best trip ever as we had them biting all day. For the last hour and a half we broke out whole blueclaws looking for the right one. 24 cast later I had 20 keepers in the boat between 5-9 lbs. the fish were destroying the baits
Going to give it one more try this Monday with hopefully some different results

After it being slow weekend I started to think the wrecks where picked off of big fish. Went out yesterday to one of the same spots I tried last weekend and had my limit of nice size fish. Biggest being 8 pounds. So now I'm thinking the big ones are always there but only bite when the conditions are just right.
