I have a large bowl of rib cage meat. Thinking about making chowder out of it, and not wasting the meat.
Anyone ever do this???

I make Chowder and fish cakes from rib meat and my family loves em.
Quick and simple. Steam fish in a double broiler or you can put a strainer over a pot and steel ribs in that. Just cover to keep the steam in. I steam in 1/2 water and 1/2 wine, white or red. Add a few cloves of garlic to the liquid and steam away.
Let cool and remove meat from rib cages.
Chris G has a good Chowder recipient on here and I like the southwest Chowder recipie that's on here.
I have a fish cake recipient on here.
New phone exchange and I can't Bathgate the links but look around. They are on here.
Enjoy!

And here is the Chowda.
I won't say this is the best, but it's one version I enjoy.
