Tog in PP Canal ?

Despite the post count I've been on this site for a while now and most of you know me (Skolmann's son). Im coming home from school for the week and I was thinking about hitting the canal for a few hours tomorrow (11/23). Any info from there?

I had some luck about two weeks ago in the canal. I found most fish close to the wall- bounce your sinker around and wait to feel structure.. if it feels like sand or soft bottom, move. I might swing by the canal this Friday while everyone else is shopping.. either there or the inlet. Good luck and look forward to your report.

I took my son on Saturday and we had tons of hits. My son caught his first ever blackfish and it was a keeper right at 15". In total we had 6 fish but missed 50 or so bites.
