The Monger and the Mortgage

Opening day with the Monger Nation. I arrived promptly at the dock at 450 am. I began walking down the dock to be greeted by the one and only JMurr. I promptly returned to my vehicle locking my keys and dignity in the car and unloaded my gear. Stellar day, stellar boat, stellar Capt, mate and crew. Boat limit by around 2 , everyone caught but the Mortgage Man just put on a clinic!!!! I'm not sure but I believe he had 18 to 22 keepers himself I lost count after using all my fingers and toes. I'm not a smart man but I can count up to 20 then I get a little confused. Congrats on an awesome opening day. Henry also put up some impressive numbers as usual as did Rob. It's truly a great experience to fish with all these guys especially with Capt Jerry on the Monger. A special thanks to the cruise director for allowing me to join in. You know who you are. Great way to kick of the season. The games have begun and Elvis is in the building. Tog on brothers and sisters. Thanks again

Yes it was a Steli day and thanks for the invite. Joey you did pretty good too and deserve a mention as well as Rob, but Eric learned well and put on the show with that "hot dog" bringing up the rear. Great trip, crew and Jerry and John.

It was an all star crew and another great job by Jerry and John. It sure was nice seeing the old familiar tog hunter faces. That damn Henry has screwed me however. After fishing with him a lot lately he has got me addicted to the jigs. I got all my keepers on the jig. It was good fishing again with Joey and a big thanks to him for the bagels and coffee and to the infamous Joe M for his signature pretzels. You can not help but have a good time when fishing with Joe and Joey.
