Did a quick afternoon trip today out of Manasquan Inlet. It seemed like the Seaside bite had died down by the time I got out so I headed north. I ran over a bunker pod in 50 ft of water that was down below the surface, I snagged one and almost instantaneously had this 42" fish on. Caught one more before the bite died down (also over 42", released). Seems spotty out there but there are def. fish to be caught locally now.
