First good day of Jig fishing!

Started out catching the Bass, slot fish, shorts and keepers. Adam was High hook with 7 fish, Henry, Jimmy and June had multiple fish, fishing in the bow, using the Shads and plain jigs. After the change of tide, the bird life was incredible then the Big Blues took over. Fish up to 15 pounds on just about anything you tossed out.

Boat traffic was horrendous once again and the lack of respect for each other out there is disgusting any more! I'll leave it at that as I don't want to ruin a great day.

Back at it tomorrow!!

Finally got a chance to get back at it again of course with capt ron. Ron put us right on the fish from the get go and shads were the big ticket. Of course the little boats run right through the massive amount of bird life and fish busting on top only to scatter them. This happened all morning but short fast fishing drifts was the ticket. You would think that these "fishermen" who decide to go drive right thru the school of fish and wonder y the fish dont hang out long, get the hint after the first time. Nope we watched the same morons race right over the schools time and time again. Oh well just blowing off steam. After hours of some great bass action the monster blues showed up and it was like christmas morning for us all!!! These blues were fierce! ( henry is still recovering) these things were annihilating anything in their path. Lou weighed one to give us an avg weight....17lbs! I mean cmon those are just beasts! And it was a blast and a hell of a great day with great people! Get out there! The bites on. Thanks again to capt ron for his hard work to keep us on the fish!

Weekend warriors Ron.
Should be better during the week.
At one point, I looked off my bow and had a 20 ft boat under my pulpit. I put it in reverse and asked the guys if they wanted to come fishing on my boat. That went over like a fart in church. A few choice words went back and forth.
Come on people we need some courtesy out there.
Plenty of fish to go around.
