Big thank you for the assist on 10/25

Just want to say THANKS to the two gentlemen who helped me and my Brother out on Sunday 10/25 around 9 AM. We were trolling umbrellas making our way around the Hook when our engine just quit and would not restart. (Just had it completely serviced for fuel issues and after a 30 minute troll the problem was back).

Anyway of course the wind and tide put us right in the channel off the Hook and we were drifting down the channel not out of it. We raised Sea Tow immediately but there was plenty of Tug and Barge traffic on the horizon which is not a good feeling when you have no power.

We flagged down a boat passing on the way to fishing grounds and these two gentlemen were nice enough to kill 15 minutes of there fishing time to drag us out of the channel so we could anchor and wait for Sea Tow.

Just wanted to say THANK YOU and hope you guys were rewarded with keepers on Sunday! ;)

If you own a boat long enough bad stuff will happen sooner or later!
Always nice to know there are a few good people left out there to lend a hand but don't short yourself either, every year you see People anchored in the channel, thank you for not being one of those people and being wise enough to get out of bad situation and then remain safe!
Hope all goes well with the motor re- repair!!
