That time of year where we move the boat up and down the parkway and the truck transforms into a 2 axle vehicle? That means it's 4.50 at every 1.50 toll. Not sure why but would love to hear any input.

The toll is based on the number of axles on your trailer. I've noticed that when I tow my small single axle boat the toll is less than when I have the larger double axle trailer. Somehow EZ Pass can tell the difference!

My single axle trailer and truck are charged $4.50 for each toll, doesn't make much sense to me. They do it because they can get away with it! When ever possible I avoid the Parkway like the plague.

go to the parkway/ turnpike web site & look up the toll schedule for an explanation.

I have gone through the cash only many times with my twin axle trailer and only paid to auto rate. Kept expecting a ticket in the mail the first time. Never came. $1.50 at the bridge and $.50 at exit 119. Never had a problem. I think the easy pass lane reads the trailer. The cash only does not. I could be wrong but I have gone this route for a few years now.
