I filled one out yesterday and submitted it. I received another one today indicating they had reached their limit of responses and to not fill anything else out.

I received the email yesterday and completed survey. Couldn't open link to VAS website.

My comments at the end of survey included a request for science based commercial and recreational size/bag limits in the future.

I received one as well. I completed it and sent it. Just found one this morning saying they only needed 10K responses and they got what they needed so if you haven't responded yet don't bother which struck me as funny. I would think if you wanted to really know what was going on the more information you had the better....

I got one as well. Filled out the survey and returned it. I think that the data could be very valuable, but am not sure that I trust that it would be used properly.

The link didn't work so I replied to the email and told me it worked S bad as they did.

Told them that the boat and shore house was being sold and was moving to where they had not decimated winter and summer flounder

So can anyone tell me if this data (the actual catch and/or release fish data requested) not this specific survey - has either helped or hurt us? The fishery?

It would be helpful to know what do they do with the fish catch and/or release data...and what (if any) actions taken as a direct result?

They just opened up another set of E-mails (increased storage limit) so you can still fill out the survey.

I got another one today. My suggestion to all is to take part. At the end please politely state your opinion on the current state of the flawed science. We are losing the fight every year. Perhaps if we get more involved we can make a change for the better. What's the worst that can happen? They continue to screw us? At least you tried.

I got another email that they reopened it over the weekend. I'd be curious to see what the results showed.

They guys down south jersey think that bass have gone extinct. Northern guys are having a great year. Big difference in opinion.
