Left the dock with just a handful of guys today. Had to bounce around several area's looking for the Bass but we did manage to put several beauties in the cooler. Poo fish went 39 inches and 23 pounds, had a 34 and a 31 with a couple 28's in the mix also.
Kelly was high hook with 3 fish loosing a Big baby right at the top! Alex and Moe also had very nice fish in the box.
Had bird life in the AM but it turned out to be snapper blues. Didn't stay with that too long as we couldn't catch them.
Please bring the heavier rods for sinker fishing, today when the current got running you need 12 ounces to hold bottom.
Don't forget to order your Bonus tags as we did use a couple today for the under 28 inch fish.
Capt. Dan is sailing Mon-Saturday nights 6:30pm till 11:30pm, weather looks good for the next several days...it's just the beginning!!
