This morning, we fished out east of shark river inlet on the west side of the mud hole. We started fish immediately and it continued all day with excellent fishing on blues up to 20 lbs. We read fish all day on top of the hills all the way in to the deep. Once again, ava 47’s and crocodiles worked best.

Sailing daily for stripers and blues from 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

They mark them. Cut a tail fin or dorsal fin etc so everyone knows who's fish is who's if the person does not have their own cooler or burlap bag

Thanks for the info, one other question. Does the boat provide the jigs (ava 47 and crocs) when you rent their rods?

If it's like most, you get the first one free and pay for the rest.

Sorry Tolvo but at $8.00 a pop for Crocks (wholesale) and $4.00 for 47's, no boats can provide these lures on a Rental rod for free. Most provide one set-up then you are on your own. If you loose the first one then buy one, doesn't mean you keep it at the end of the day......

Thanks for the info Capt. Ron. I'll bring back ups for a future trip. Time to go online shopping for jigs!

Thanks for the info Capt. Ron. I'll bring back ups for a future trip. Time to go online shopping for jigs!

get your best price, i suspect you'll find that the boats will have the RIGHT jigs (that swim), with the RIGHT terminal tackle (that do not BREAK on hook up) and will be LESS than your internet bought jigs ......or support a LOCAL tackle shop, who has the the CORRECT tackle for our needs
