I have seen bouyweather forecasts of 22' and 50 kt+ offshore for the upcoming weekend. Is there a tropical system headed our way? I can't find anything through NOAA and would like to start getting a sense of the different models/paths for any major system.

2 weeks straight of offshore blowouts. And yes, I have a tuna trip scheduled for Oct 4-5. Hi Dave...... :o

Thanks,
John

Thanks. Hoping it hits the Jets and screams north and/or tracks further east.

This is a good site for watching hurricanes and tropical storms.

http://spaghettimodels.com/

It shows all the different paths from the different models and they change all the time. Look close and you can see where they are in x numer of hours. Right now, a couple simulation models show the storm hitting us.

Hopefully next week'll be good---In 2000, 9/19 right after "Gordon" departed 19 went, 14 got seasick, quit fishing and 5 of us caught 11 YFT...Next year 9/18 after "Gabriel" passed, 20 went out and same scenario---9 of us got 12YFT & 5 free swimming mahi....don't give up hope, both of those trips were rough but fishable.....see you on board.....

This is crazy, but NWS just said this is now shaping up to having Sandy like potential and track.:eek:
