Usually you will find me in some sweet waters but once in awhile you know you need to add some salt to your veins.

Since I don't mix well with boats and getting on one is always a battle with myself, I do all my fishing from shore, beach, bridge whatever. Always good to feel some solid (not moving) ground under your feet.

Will make it short and sweet. Fished at the mouth of Forked River hoping to catch, well pretty much anything that will come my way. Night turned out to be a dog night. From 7pm till 11pm kept on landing one after another with about 10 dogfish landed in that span. As far as target species goes, landed only 5 blues with all being on the smaller scale and under 2 lbs.

Wind was kicking my ass so had call a night quicker than I would usually do.

Bait used: Bunkers, Clams, Worms and don't laugh but was messing around with an eel for awhile too (don't know what I was thinking)

Saw couple of boats coming out (brave souls) during the time I was there.

No pictures, camera died on me (probably something to do with me dropping that shit in a water puddle) but more reports will be coming and updated since I don't see many surf reports here.

Sounds like a fun day man. Dogfish are always fun to catch and 5 blues is awesome too.

I fished surf recently in the morning and got 1 blue from IBSP. Still can't find a striped one. Should get better in October i hope!

Man, I know exactly what you are saying.

They are coming though, that's for sure and once they are here will be waiting.

Tight Lines.
