Any bass/bunker in the nave sink?

Haven't fished the river at all this year and was thinkin of giving it a shot tomorrow night. Anyone targeting stripers lately there? Any adult bunker around? Any info appreciated.

Was crabbing in Red Bank past weekend and have seen some schools of bunker around.

Most were hanging out by the weeds. Cannot comment on the stripers since was not targeting them but wouldn't eels work better there? Just a thought.

Tried last night. A good amount of bunker around the oceanic bridge. Managed one small bass and a bunch of cocktail blues. Hit another spot in shrewsbury and got about 10 more bass. All under 24"

Oooh crabbing was spectacular. Left with a full cooler by just navigated the bridges and plucking them off the walls.

Was at forked river last night and I just couldn't get my bait beyond dogfish. Was getting them one after another and only managed to connect to 5 blues but hopefully with a wind quieter today will do better.

Only managed to connect with one solid one last Friday in Rockaways fishing off the wall and still lost it while trying to get it out. Gave him too much slack.
