We had more limits today and seeing better fishing than we have seen in weeks. The next 4 days look good but if Windguru is correct for next week it may be all over come Monday. Check it out, EAST wind all next week which COULD kill the fluking. We all hope they are wrong but if you wait you may miss out on good September fluking and who knows if we have any next year.
We had very good fishing this morning before the fleet came and the drift died. We did find more fish at the end of the day when the tide turned. The stern caught much better than the bow again today. Bill Karg from Millington limited and took the pool with a 6 1/2 pound fluke. His brother Tom had 4 nice fish and Pat Kosic from Boonton also in the stern limited.
No Galley tomorrow.
Bring the heavy gear we are fishing deep water.
The fish were full of rain fish today.
