How often do you fish PBs/Open Boats?

Title says all. Out of curiosity, how often do you most of you fish Party/Open boats?

For me it depends on conditions. Being a boat owner myself if it looks like I'm gonna get beat up in my boat I'm on a party boat lately it's been once every 2 weeks. But when I'm pulled out once a week twice if I can :D

I try to schedule 3-4 fishing trips a month. If one gets blown out, I try to re-schedule when weather allows.

Open boat I try to get out at least once a week, except during Tog season, then I try for at least twice a week.

I have my own boat, so my PB/Open boat patronage is limited to going after species I can't easily target myself, e.g. tuna, offshore wreck fishing.

That being said, 2-3 times a year. I'm usually out in my boat every couple weeks from may through Dec.

Same here. One or twice a year for tuna or Fall blackfish. Otherwise, I use my own stuff.

For me it's been 6-8 times per year on party boats (usually the same one out of AH, occasionally I drive down to belmar), my buddy has a boat so I go with him fairly often (just a pain in the butt to drive to staten island then back, wish he could pick me up at a dock in NJ and drop me off.....then I don't have to clean the boat :rolleyes:

When I was living in NJ was 1 time per week mostly headboats and an occasional open boat. Now I live too,far away but still,travel east 1-2 times per year. I usually dom2/3 bluefish trips on the cock robin. Fluke on a buddy's boat or the capt cal or J2. Tuna fishing , I try to do,2 per year 1 -48 hr trip on the Gambler and 1 32 hr trip,on th Mimi V. That wraps,up,the year.

I have longer discussions about how my week at work went with mates on the boat then I do with my wife.
