Yesterday afternoon, we picked away and caught some sea bass and a couple of fluke. There was some action and all sea bass were released.
This morning, we fished north of our inlet. We jigged small blues and an occasional albacore tight on the beach. Mid morning, the fishing died out due to slack water and the breeze coming up. At the end of the day, the blues showed back up on the beach once the tide started moving. Ava 27’s and bucktails worked great. We would like to thank the WRAT and all contestant winners for coming out with us today! We had a great time fishing with all of you.
SCHEDULE CHANGE: the Miss Belmar Princess is no longer sailing for Saturday night blues. We will resume our night trips when the fish show up at night. We are still sailing daily for stripers and blues from 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and fluke and sea bass from 4:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
