Headed out with my son jake and the chimney man saturday around noon. Expected a lot of traffic and hit none. Dropped Doug off at tomatoes and jake and I headed to my old bosses new house on the beach. We were treated to a fantastic dinner in east Hampton and a good nights sleep surrounded by goose down.
As for the fishing, well, it was typical montauk. We whacked the stripers the biggest being my 28 pounder. Then it was on to seabass. Boat limit up to four pounds. We fished block all day. It was a pleasure spending the weekend with my son. It was nice having Doug along as well (I need someone to split gas and tolls:).
Can't thank my friend enough. He took care of the charter, dinner and invited Jake and I into his home with his family on a holiday weekend. He is one of the most generous guys I know!
