Had a full 6 man crew for Friday's fluke trip. Had some of our best guys on this one.
Ran to the only area we've been consistently catching them lately and had some action to start off with some keepers and shorts coming up. Fishing was a slow pick, but it was OK.
Decided to try some rough stuff around 11, and had some bites, some shorts, and 2 very nice fish dropped on the way up - but that was about it. Around noon time we went back to where we started and picked some more fish - even though it was a grind we were able to put some nice fish in the boat and the shorts were able to keep everyone busy.
One more shot at the rough stuff at the end of the day was very slow.
Wound up with 11 keepers, (4 or 5 of them in the 3-6# range) and 2 spotted hake. Bill was HH with 3, big fish was ~6#.
