It took a while to find some keepers today but we had action for most of the day. It has not been easy but we have been finding keepers. bait has been better producing keepers while jiggers cath plenty of shorts. Juan Ortiz from Bayonne had our last keeper of the day and it was the pool fish. Some had 2 and 3 keepers.
It was good to have chef George back this weekend and he will be here the next three days.
I have been finding fish in new areas and the weather looks good all week and I think we will have some good late August fluking. We had another thresher on today and they follow the fluke.
Galley open all week.
Big pool now $3470 and growing.
