Hey Guys & Gals,
Sorry I have been seriously lacking reports & pics this season. Just been busy. And let's be honest, nothing to go rushing to write about! Anyway, I'm gonna make it short and sweet.
Had that crappy northeast blow so we had some days off since early August.
8/12 - Open Boat crew of 6 out for fluke. Definitely a tough day. They guys worked very hard for about 10 keepers on the day.
8/13 - 3 man 1 woman crew. They worked hard for the day. And for this season, put a beating on solid keepers. Most 3-5 lbs. 22 keepers on this trip.
8/14 - 6 man crew of the Lynch mob. These boys always manage to catch them with us. No matter what. Guess they got some skills! DEEP POCKETS and his brother NO POCKETS did well. But their buddy mike nailed a 9 1/2lb fluke! Great catching by these guys today for sure. Always a good trip with them. 22 keepers.
8/15 - FSOS Fluke 6 man crew. Pounded away all day looking for the big one. Butttt it didn't happen. Been a tough year! 10 keepers
8/16 - 6 man crew family trip for Jerry and his boys before they head back to school. Conditions were great for bait dragging the sand but out of now where we were flying! Did manage 4 keepers and a load of shorts early. But as the day went on we lost it all.
8/17 - 8/20 we took off for some much needed maintenance and a minor repair. But we are all set to go. Unfortunately our charter for 8/21 had to bail last minute and we did not sail today. Back at it tomorrow.
