I have a canoe and kayaks and want to try some new water. Where would u go. I'm from Parsippany but would travel up to 2 hours. I just want to see the plethora of opinions my NJ fishing family has. :D

Anything is fine skunk. Just want to catch a little. I have experience/gear for anything except muskie. New water would be cool thou. I am obsessed with smallies and walleye though haha

I would try to get my hands on some helgrimmites and float the delaware. You can catch as many smallmouth as you want.

If it were me, I'd float the raritan or lamington. Just watch the rainfall... Or go vampire and fish the raritan or big d. Huge cats, eyes and bronze!

It's a great time of year for the big river systems. Everything is feeding heavy. I'd stay away from the popular areas though, too many vacationers stirring up the water.
