6 pack fluke trip on thr golden touch

Beautiful day on the water. First time on thr golden touch and all I can say is I will be back. Left at 6 am sharp and took a long run to try and find some flatties. Had an okay bite with shorts and a keeper here and there. Caught some ling, a bunch of beautiful seabass that we had to throw back and some nice fluke. Mate was extremely helpful and the captain gave us plenty of overtime to put a catch of 17 keepers in the boat. I fished with my father and the rest of the group were great guys. A few exotics included about 5 mackerel that were caught while reeling up our jigs and my father caught a giant squid on a bucktail while on the bottom.

Did anyone send the squid back down and catch anything?

No. I believe it was too big. The body alone was a foot long.

no such thing as to big a squid i have seen 3 lb fluke desrtoy 1 14 inch squid fisheed on two hook adjustable slider. top slider hook through top of mantle and bottom hook throw eyes. Fished on 3 ft leader on 3 way or sliding sinker
