View Full Version : Night of 1000 Crabs! <VIDEO> 8/7/15 Shrews

Had a great night crabbing on the newly designed Nighthawk 3000. Took the GoPro along and shot some video. It's a bit long (12 min) but I didn't want to edit/cut it up so you can get a feel for the sheer number of crabs and non-stop action up until my camera battery died.

That was some great video Ypu really do a great job editing your videos.
I am going to have to hook up come blackfish season for some blue claws lol

Very well done and some god eats there Doug. I was out with the wife a few days ago. It was a bit on the slow side for us. Only a dozen but they were some very nice Jimmies. Here is one next to my 12 inch size 12 shoe.

Good for you man, I love crabbing. Not 100% sure but I believe its illegal to spot light crabs in Jersey. No one would give you a hard time but I believe that's the law. Anyway awesome set up and keep it up.

Nothing illegal about using lights to catch crabs just an old rumor.

Great video, Thanks for sharing. I caught crabs and fluke ( flounder in Hatteras) in a little boat with lights, but your stand up board beats them all......and you're very fast....LOL.
